Can You Blame Me?

Can you blame me?

I wasn’t looking to be famous

I just wanted to know your name

And how you taste

How you feel

To get up under your skin

Make you forget from where you came

Lose your mind

Nothing there to gain

So follow your heart instead

Tell me, can you handle this kinda thing

Was I wrong to want to taste your lips

Run my tongue along every inch

Scratch my nails right down your back

Touch you in ways you’ve never felt

Make you believe in things you never thought you would

Take you places you’ve never been

Show you things you’ve never seen

Whisper in your ear things you’ve never heard

Know you in ways even you have never known

Telling you secrets not ever meant to be told

Reaching new heights at every twist and turn

Tell me, can you blame me for this?

For wanting something more…
