Torment and desire

Love and hate

Intimacy caught on fire

I held the torch as I watched it burn from

Ashes to dust

Yet we are still drawn to each other

Like moths to a flame

For reasons still left unknown

The emotions you stir up inside of me

I feel you

And my whole body ignites

Can’t remember another time I felt so alive

I remember your touch

The way you saw me

Your smell

How you held me for hours

I never felt so safe

I never felt so devoured.
