The moon, the planets and the stars

Many centuries apart

Lakes, seas and vast oceans between us

Seasons and cycles changing like emotions scattered in the wind

Thunderous storms

That tore us apart

Two jaded hearts

Dreams of you

Haunting my nights

A faint remembrance of a beautiful life

Love a thousand years old

Forgotten but written in the stars

So I closed my eyes

Followed the path of the moon, the planets and the stars

Until they led me straight back into your loving arms.
